When you open any document in this environment, you must look at the whole document, scrolling to the bottom of the page so that the lock is removed from the next item in the Module. When you scroll to the bottom, the document should then have a green check mark. All items must be completed before the next item in the module becomes available.
The progress icons in a forced sequencing module are popualted by the system. They will be grey when the student opens the document, and replaced by the green check when the student scrolls to the bottom of the page. Even if you turned off progress tracking, these tracking icons would be in place because forced sequencing is enabled.
