Sending Email

        1.     Click on Control Panel >> Course Tools >> Send Email link on the course menu. 

 



        2.     Choose the desired email option. Most of the time you will                                                                                     use the All Users or Single/Select Users option. Your options                                                                                 may differ, depending on how the instructor sets up the course site. 


        3     Type a subject and a message. 


        4.     Attach file option is listed below the text box if external/local files wish to be added to the email.


        5.       Click the submit button. 



You will see a receipt at the top of the page in a green textbox letting you know the email was sent successfully. You will get an error message of there is a problem. 



Receiving Email 

 

Recipients of each email will not see the email addresses of other recipients. Each recipient receives email as a blind carbon copy (Bcc). 

 

All email sent through Blackboard goes to the college email address. Login to the college email system to read, and manage mail.
