Bulk Edit Question Points in Blackboard Tests

We’re excited to share that Blackboard has released a new feature that allows you to bulk edit point values for test questions—making it faster and easier to manage your assessments.

With this new enhancement, you can:

• Select all questions at once, with the option to deselect individual questions as needed
• Select specific questions for targeted point value changes
• Filter by question type (e.g., all True/False questions) to apply consistent point values
• Combine filters, selecting both question type and individual questions for more customized editing

How to Bulk Edit Question Points:

1. Open an existing test.
2. In the upper right corner, click the three dots icon and select “Bulk edit points.”
   • Use “Select All” in the left corner to choose all questions.
   • Use the filter in the right corner to select by question type and enter the desired point value.
3. Once you’ve made your selections and entered the new point value, click “Update” in the bottom right corner.
