How do I create a link in my Course Menu? : Blackboard Support - TCC

Make sure Edit Mode is turned on:
Click on the Add Menu Item button (the + sign) at the top of the course menu:
Select Web Link from the menu:
A dialog box similar to the one below labeled Add Web Link will appear:
1. Enter a name for the link in the text field labeled Name(for this example, we will use Library)
2. Enter or copy the web address for the site you wish to link in the space labeled URL ( for this example, we will enter http://library.tulsacc.edu/home )
3. Check the box next to Available to Users to make the item visible to users
4. When finished, click the Submit button.

Notice: The link will appear at the bottom of the Course Menu and can be moved around to suit your needs.

Select the plus sign wherever you want to add the website information:
Select Create from the dropdown menu which appears to open the Create Item panel:
Select Link from the slide-out panel menu (You can also expand or create a folder or learning and add the link in there as well.):
A New Link panel will appear as shown below:
1. Type a name for the link (If you don't add a name, New Linkand the date appear. Click the name to Edit.)
2. Click the dropdown menu next to "Hidden from students" and select "Visible to students" to make the link visible:
3. Paste or type the URL.
4. Select the globe icon to preview the website.
5. Type in a description for the link (optional)
6. Click the Save button to apply the changes.
