Safe Assign is an elective tool used by instructors used to check for originality on a given assessment.
If your instructor has this enabled, e.g. for an essay assignment, or a written outline, the pre-attempt page might look something like this:
Once you've made your submission, if you re-enter the assignment, you might see a message like this:
Note:
- After submitting your assignment, the report may be visible in a panel next to your submission or within the submission details.
- Look for a link like "View Originality Report" and select it.
- The report will open in a new layer or window, showing the originality score and highlighted text with corresponding sources.
