Modified on Wed, 23 Oct at 12:40 PM

Here's how to update your Course Name.

Blackboard Ultra

In Ultra, the Course ID is at the top left of the page, and the Course Name is directly underneath it.

To change the name of the course, move your mouse over the Course Name. The pencil icon will appear, and the Course Name will be underlined.

Click on the pencil icon and you'll be able to edit the Course Name just by selecting it and typing. When you're done, use Enter to save the new Course Name.

Blackboard Original

In Blackboard Original, you will see the Course Name in the top bar and also at the top of the Course Menu:

There is a label "Course Name" with red arrows pointing to the Course Names, and a label "Course ID" with red arrows pointing to the Course IDs.
