As a general rule of thumb, any type of assessment containing questions will be add to the question bank. This can also apply to content you have copied into your course. That can be an Original course or it can be from an Ultra course.
Once created, saved, and/or copied somewhere in your Content page, you will now have the capacity to re-use these questions when editing content in a new assessment.
This can be done by selecting the "+" icon and selecting "re-use questions" in the drop-down menu when you are editing a new gradebook or content item.
There are also convenient and powerful AI tools in Blackboard Ultra that will allow instructors to generate questions and add them to pools.
