Course Merges

Modified on Mon, 9 Dec, 2024 at 12:55 PM

If you want to combine several courses that all have the same content and schedule into one, you'll need to request a course merge.

Here's what happens with a course merge:

1. You'll request the merge by filling out a form that asks for the courses you want to merge together (the child courses).

On the Institution Page, scroll down to the Faculty Resources area. Click on the link and fill out the form to request a course site merge.

2. We will create the parent course and merge your child courses into it.

3. You will create and edit your content only in the parent course. Students who are enrolled in the child courses will see that content. Students who are enrolled in the child courses will show up to you as being enrolled in the parent course. You will not be able to create or edit content in the child courses.
