Making a direct connection to a Zoom room from Blackboard

In Zoom

  1. Login to your TCC Zoom Pro account and create your profile.
  2. Click on the Setting link and set your general settings.

In Blackboard

  2. In the ADD Tool Link Box Select Zoom Meetings
    1. Name = Zoom Meetings
    2. Type = Zoom Meetings
  3. Select Available to Users
  4. Click Submit
  5. Click the link to Schedule your Meetings.  Note, if you do not have a TCC Zoom account, you will not be able to use this feature.  You will get a note that indicates “User Does Not Exist.” You can send a note to telework@tulsacc.edu to request an account. Close up of Zoom Scheduling Online
  6. In Blackboard, click Schedule a New Meeting (if you already have recurring meetings, you might delete these and reschedule using this new Bb Zoom connector.
  7. Fill out the meeting settings. 
    1. Topic: the title of your meeting
    2. When: date and time of the meeting
    3. Duration: the total amount of time the meeting will run for (you can enter a meeting early)
    4. Recurring meeting: meetings that will be used more than once in the course (e.g., weekly discussion meetings)
    5. Video Host/Participant: select whether you'd like your/your participants' video to be automatically turned on or off
    6. Set Your Meeting Options 

 

You will see your course meeting links when you click the Zoom link on your course menu.
