Did you know that through TCC's library, you have access to a vast collection of films and video clips that you can use in your courses?

Films on Demand has over 43,000 films and 315,000 video segments on nearly every subject offered at TCC. And you can add them to your Blackboard courses! Here's how:

Find a film

Search the Films on Demand database to find relevant videos for your topic.

Note: be sure you're logged in through MyTCC so that you have access to the library's databases.

Add it to Blackboard

You can add a Films on Demand video to any content area on Blackboard. Go to Build Content, then look in the menu under Mashups for Films on Demand Video

Search for the film

Next, search for the film you want. If you chose one in the previous step, you already know which one you want. For example, suppose you chose a segment from the Ken Burns film Jackie Robinson, Part 1

Look for the segment you chose in the search results, and click Select to add it to your Content Area as a new item.

You can edit the new item like any other item in Blackboard; additionally, you can choose how you want to display the video: as a thumbnail, a text link, or an embedded video.

When you're done editing, click Submit. The Films on Demand video will be added to your Content Area.
