Ultra – Inserting an Image
Selecting the Image Icon in the Text Editor
First, click within the text box with your cursor. In the following example, we have a text box for a discussion response.
Next, select the photo icon, which will provide a pop-up with additional options.
Uploading the Image
- Once you select the photo icon, you will see a pop-up that will allow you to upload either JPEG or PNG files from your local device, which can either be done via “drag-and-drop” from your desktop or by selecting “upload file”.
- When you select “Upload Photo”, you will see your File Explorer which will show you your local files wherever they are located. Select the photo you wish to upload, and then select “Okay” in the File Explorer menu.
- When you select your image and upload, you’ll see options to change the aspect ratio, crop, and magnify to your liking. You can select several different aspect ratios in both portrait and landscape modes if your image needs to be adjusted here.
- After cropping, the next window will give you Display Name options, where you can rename the file if you wish to.
- Below this, you’ll see options for accessibility to add descriptive text. There is also a box to toggle whether it is decorative or not.
- Once you select “save”, you will see your image back in the original text box with text editor options. When you click on your image you can do some final resizing.
- Click “respond” and your image will be posted.
- You may need to edit your image after posting.
If so, you can click the ellipses shown here.
The “edit” option will appear.
