Each course’s Blackboard site is organized by its professor, and so they may use different names and methods of organizing information. However, every course will feature a Main Window on the right side and a Course Menu on the left.
The Main Window displays information, while the Course Menu has links to open other pages in the course site. Clicking a link changes the information displayed in the Main Window. For example, clicking the Assignments link in the Course Menu of this site will display the Assignments page in the Main Window.
Some pages will have links in the Main Window that will lead to pages not listed in the Course Menu. For example, this Modules page has links to folders labeled “Module A” and “Module B.” Clicking the Module A link opens the Module A folder in the Main Window.
Again, every course site is different, but each will follow this same logic using the Course Menu and Main Window.
