Cannot delete McGraw Hill column(s) in gradebook

Modified on Mon, 24 Jun, 2024 at 10:47 AM

Some instructors may find that after performing a course copy, unwanted assignment columns exist in the gradebook.

Attempts to find and delete the assignment in the course fail.  This is because they were previously linked, and a process to remove them must be followed.

When McGraw-Hill columns are in the gradebook and cannot be deleted,  the instructor can-
  1. Go the Control Panel
  2. Click McGraw-Hill Higher Education
  3. Under Support Tools click "Unlink Grade Center Columns for Potential Deletion"
  4. This will bring up a screen that allows you to unlink columns, so that they can then be deleted from the Blackboard gradebook.
