'Nudging' a grade in Ultra gradebook

Modified on Fri, 6 Dec, 2024 at 4:03 PM

To nudge a student's grade:

Navigate to your gradebook.
Find the grade you wish to adjust.
In this example, we'll nudge Cassie's overall grade from 89.57 to 90.

Click on the letter grade and type the new point value.
This small nudge will change the student's overall grade from a B to an A.

If the point value is 90% or higher, the grade will change to an A (and so on).

The grade pill will be a gray color that reminds you it is an override.

NOTE:  Students don't see grade pill colors, only instructors.
